Zivaworks has announced that “In Another Life,” their first 2022 feature film, is now in post production.
The upcoming title follows the story of a working mother who got her wishes on her 35th birthday. She finds herself living the life she always wanted but soon discovers that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.
The film is a co-production between Zivaworks Limited, Take 7 Media, and Sutoritera Limited. It is the first feature production from both Zivaworks and Sutoritera and will premiere later in 2022.
Michael Garuba, Emil Garuba, and Brenda Ogbuka-Garuba cowrote “In Another Life.” While Brenda Ogbuka-Garuba, Emil Garuba, and Bem Pever produced, and Taiwo Shittu shot the film.
For a change, Zivaworks filmed the Belinda Yanga directed title on location in Abuja, Nigeria.
“In Another Life” is a fantasy family dramedy about second chances and owning up to the decisions we make in our lives. The film’s lead casts include Meg Otanwa, Uzor Arukwe, Nkem Owoh and Clarion Chukwurah. Other top casts are Maksat Adiele, Adam Garba, Tonia Chukwurah, and Collins ‘Shadyville’ Chukwu.
According to Zivaworks, chances are the title would go straight to streaming and skip theatrical run.
