Accelerate TV’s hit comedy series, “Visa on Arrival” is back with Season 3 this July 2023. The comedy series that first aired on Accelerate TV’s YouTube channel in 2021, quickly became a fan favourite and has caught the interest of Nigerians globally.
The series is created by Bovi Ugboma exclusively for Accelerate TV and promises to be even more exciting with comedy favourites Bovi Ugboma as Officer Francis; Anita Afoke Asuoha (Real Warri Pikin) as Officer Hope; Albert Oluwatoyin (Dat Warri Gal) as Officer Charity and Temisan ‘Taymesan’ Emmanuel as Officer Okoro who play unscrupulous visa officers in this satirical series centred around a fictitious visa issuing agency.
Previous seasons of “Visa on Arrival” have gathered over 12 million views on Accelerate TV’s YouTube channel and the series is widely loved not only because of the actors but also the outrageous situations and snapback comments between the visa officers and the visa seekers. The success of the comedy series can be attributed to Bovi Ugboma’s comedic genius and excellent burlesque writing as well as the talented lead characters playing the visa issuing officers.
“Visa on Arrival” was recently nominated for two Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) for ‘Best Series’ and “Best Actress” and the series recently won a gold award in the ‘Entertainment Film’ category at the 2023 Pitcher Awards.
