“Playing Pretend”, the movie explores the theme of Love in marriage and deals with it from a wholesome perspective. Unlike most other films, this project doesn’t shy away from showing the gritty messy part of love and how the little parts all come together to make a healthy, functional home. A story of loss, pain and love, it is highly unpredictable and would leave the audience with a mix of emotions, crying one moment and laughing the other.
SALTNATION, as a production company is intent on introducing relatable stories that entertain while using the entertainment value as a means and not an end. The goal is the lessons that are hidden in the stories, and “PLAYING PRETEND” is laden with lessons, humor and suspense.
“PLAYING PRETEND” is written, produced, and directed by Chidike Samuelson, the President of SALTNATION PRODUCTIONS and an erudite storyteller who has contributed to the scripts of many other celebrated projects.
However, in this one, he has reached deep within his own marriage experience and the stories of friends and those he has counseled to pull out this masterpiece.
The Lagos Premiere would hold on Saturday, the 28th of January, 2023, at VIVA CINEMAS, JARA MALL, SIMBIAT ROAD, IKEJA. Red Carpet starts 4 pm, Movie starts at 5 pm.
