Nigerian director Uyoyou Adia and leading Nollywood production company Anthill Studios are gearing up for the release of their groundbreaking project, ‘Casa de Novia,’ on Prime Video on March 29, 2024.
Anthill Studios, under Adia’s creative direction, anticipates that ‘Casa de Novia’ will redefine storytelling, injecting a fresh perspective into the romantic comedy genre. Adia, praised for her directorial prowess in ‘Hey You!,’ showcases the studio’s readiness to embrace challenges, evident in the film’s engaging narrative and stellar cast chemistry.
Penned by the dynamic duo of Saninye Alasia and Niyi Akinmolayan, ‘Casa de Novia’ weaves a story of love, laughter, and serendipity. The ensemble cast includes Anee Icha, Nosa Rex Okunzuwa, Taye Arimoro, Efe Irele, Tope Tedela, Eso Dike, Femi Adebayo, Moyin Olutayo, Shy Talkative, and more.
Adia, sharing her enthusiasm with Nollywire, expressed, “This project means everything to me. It’s scary, exciting, and challenging—all the elements that make it worthwhile. I’m taking on a new genre, and the plan is to execute it in the best way possible. Yes, I’m just going to have fun with it.”

Akinmolayan emphasised the studio’s commitment to building authentic sets that capture the essence of their stories, similar to their creative approach in ‘The House of Secrets.’ The sets, constructed using available materials, allow for artistic manipulation to achieve the filmmaker’s vision.
