Tobi Bakre is a Nigerian actor, model, host, compere, and photographer. Tobi rose to fame after finishing up as a finalist in the Big Brother Naija (season 3) reality TV show in 2018, where he emerged 2nd runner up. He started his acting career as a character on a Nigerian daily show 'Hustle' where he portrayed the average struggle of a Nigerian returnee living in the country for the first time, after which he had his major cinema break in the movie 'Sugar Rush' which did great in the box office. He played the role Andy, a mischievous lover. . Subsequently, he has appeared in other amazing titles such as The Rattle Snake, Mokalik, to mention a few. His other major big screen break came when he acted as a lead role in the movie 'Gangs of Lagos'. He played the character OBA, who was a boy born into the core struggle and street life of Lagos but will stop at nothing to get a better life for himself and his own. He also played lead in the movie 'The Blood Covenant' where he played Eddie, one of 3 friends who find themselves in unfortunate circumstances in the search for wealth and survival. He shocked the industry with the his performance in the Highest Grossing Movie in Nigeria for 2022 'Brotherhood' where he played the twin of a cop caught on the other side of the law.
