Gideon first gained recognition in Big Brother Nigeria before joining the long-running M-NET series Tinsel, where he played the role of Phillip Ade Williams. He's one of the show's longest-serving actors. Gideon has also appeared in Jacobs Cross and hosted the DSTV game show Money Drop. His film career includes lead roles in Relentless (2010), A Place in the Stars (2014), and When Love Happens (2014). Notably, he received an AMVCA nomination for his role in the drama thriller 93 Days (2016), portraying Dr. Morris Ibeawuchi during the Nigerian Ebola crisis.
