Davido, born David Adedeji Adeleke, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was born in Atlanta, USA, but raised in Lagos, Nigeria. Starting as part of KB International, he later pursued music independently. His breakout came with the release of "Dami Duro" from his debut album "Omo Baba Olowo" (2012). He announced a Netflix docu-series called "David," scheduled for release in December 2023, following the success of Netflix's previous documentary "Afrobeats: The Backstory," showcasing the rise of the Afrobeats music genre and featuring prominent artists like Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Tiwa Savage.
